Charlie Hatcher is a farmer, veterinarian, businessman, and public servant who has spent his life working, solving problems, and serving the people of Tennessee.
From caring for livestock and operating a family business to serving as Tennessee State Veterinarian and Commissioner of Agriculture, Charlie has seen firsthand how decisions made by government affect farmers, families, small businesses, and communities.
Charlie believes public service should be about getting results — not getting attention. He is running for Congress to bring Tennessee common sense, conservative values, and real-world experience to Washington.
His approach is simple: work hard, get the job done, and serve others.
BUSINESS OWNER
Charlie understands what it takes to build and operate a business because he has done it himself.
Running a business means meeting a payroll, controlling costs, making tough decisions, dealing with government regulations, and being accountable every single day. Charlie believes Washington needs more people who understand how the private sector actually works.
In Congress, he will fight for small businesses, lower taxes, less unnecessary regulation, and an economy that rewards hard work, investment, and entrepreneurship.
TENNESSEE ROOTS
Charlie’s roots in Tennessee run deep.
Agriculture, family, faith, hard work, and service have shaped who he is and how he approaches leadership. He understands the values of Tennessee communities because they are the same values that have guided his own life.
Charlie isn’t running to become part of Washington. He is running to make sure Washington remembers the people it is supposed to serve.
Tennessee will always come first.
VETERINARIAN
Charlie Hatcher is a veterinarian who has spent much of his professional life protecting animal health, agriculture, and Tennessee’s food supply.
He served as Tennessee State Veterinarian before becoming Commissioner of Agriculture, giving him firsthand experience dealing with animal disease, food safety, emergency response, farmers, and agricultural businesses.
That experience taught Charlie an important lesson: protecting American agriculture is about more than farming. It is about protecting our economy, our families, and our national security.
